Airborne/SOF

Royal Thai Police Airborne training is conducted at King Rama VI Camp on the outskirts of Cha-Am City in Southern Thailand. Originally setup for training the Border Patrol Police's Aerial Reinforcement Unit (PARU), training is now available to all members of the Thai Police force. Jump tower training is also available to members of the Thai public.

Besides many official military events ( competitions, education, marches, hosting ), there is the possibility to do parachuting. For example : Round canopee – static line; round canopee – freefall; square canopee – static line; square canopee – freefall.

Royal Engineers Sports Parachuting Association (RESPA). Skydiving courses in static line, tandem and accelerated freefall (AFF) methods. Members of the Royal Engineers and UOTCs are eligible for a discount and should contact the team office for the concessionaire rate.
