Background:
Para-Link Exchange was created in the Summer of 2006. The first version of the directory did not offer users much control over their listings and over time, and with the exponential growth of listing submissions, it became increasingly difficult - if not impossible - to maintain.
All that has changed now! We have made extensive improvements to the directory’s infrastructure and it should be much easier and a lot more fun for the user to become an active participant. Perhaps now it will be possible to maintain a growing database of current parachutist links. All it takes is for you, the user, to assume responsibility for maintaining your own listing. With your help, the directory can become a trusted resource for the rest of the community, the industry, and the general public.
A synopsis of what is new:
We now offer an improved account area with the tools site owners need to maintain their own listings; improved link suggestion forms incorporating SEO tools; google maps, youtube video, twitter feeds and facebook comments; optional button links to websites on social networks; the ability for site owners to claim a listing if someone else submitted it; an internal contact form that allows a listing owner to contact another listing owner and request a link exchange; free banner exchange; very low cost fixed or rotating banner avertisements; user and sponsor support systems, and a lot more. Take a look around and you will be pleasantly surprised at what you discover.
Although we are happy to offer most of our services for free, we are looking for sponsors to help cover operating expenses. To become a sponsor simply select from any of our paid services, i.e. sponsor listings, banner advertisements, or web hosting. Our low prices are designed to be affordable to anyone in any part of the world and your sustained sponsorship will help us invest in future improvements.
